Nurse Practitioner - Advanced Practice Nurse OB&GYN
The Cape May County Department of Health is seeking applicants for Nurse Practitioner (Women's Health) to work in our Family Planning Services and Cancer Education Early Detection Program. Experience in gynecological services - contraception counseling, STI screening and treatment, LARC insertion, cancer education and screening for cervical, breast, colorectal cancers and reviewing policies, conducting chart audits, and addressing quality improvement of the program. Must have knowledge of computers including use of basic word processing and electronic medical records.
Requirements:
Degree: Master's degree in nursing - Registered Nurse license and possess a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner certification with the National Certification Corporation (NCC) for Obstetrics, Gynecologic.
Licensure/Registration: Must have both an active unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner and a current Registered Nurse license. Plus 5 years' experience as Women's Health Practitioner and proficient in all Long-acting reversible contraceptive (LARC) methods.
Hours of operation Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with some later evening hours on Mondays Tuesdays.
