This is a Customer Service Representative position for a Growing Medical Answering Service
GWHS Answering Services is a Medical Answering Service answering off-hours and after-hours calls for the healthcare community; with customers across New Jersey and the east coast. GWHS is dedicated to serving the healthcare community by providing a professional customer service presence, a dependable communications channel, and a strong response to emergency situations. Our clients rely on our expertise which is built on nearly 30 years of industry experience. Our focus is centered on customer service, dependability, and a determined readiness for all calls and emergency situations.

Job Description:
•Fielding calls from Clients, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Patients, Physicians, etc.
•Taking and dispatching emergency and non-emergency messages
•Maintaining client account information
•Handling Protected Health Information
•Working hand in hand with coworkers
•Remaining pleasant and professional with callers, and calm under pressure
Responsibilities/Requirements Include:
In-depth and ongoing training; Processing and prioritization of emergency and non-emergency calls; Taking and dispatching messages; Use of quick typing skills ( 40 wpm minimum); Refined customer service functions; Use of high-level communication skills; Use of medical terminology; Use of call center software; Ability to flourish in team centered environment; Must be flexible with hours/able to work weekends and holidays.
