Job Description
Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Senior Mechanic located at our Prince George's County Organics Composting Facility in Upper Marlboro, MD. This position performs installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment used for a variety of environmental projects. This also includes maintaining shop/equipment parts inventory.
Minimum Requirements
Graduation from a standard high school or possession of GED equivalency certificate and five years experience performing installation, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment. Formal schooling from an accredited vocational school with a major in a related field may be substituted for experience. Education experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to three years of the required experience. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points. Appointment to some sites may require Commercial Driver’s License with specific endorsements.
Estimated Pay Range
$48,191.52 - $84,336.15
