Environmental Services Technician-York, NE

Mc2 USA Inc., is an environmental technology firm engaged in thermal soil and groundwater remediation in the United States. Mc² USA operates the patented and globally recognized in-situ thermal environmental remediation technologies ET-DSP™ and IT-DSP™ developed by McMillan-McGee Corp (Mc²).

We are seeking a technician to operate our site in York, Nebraska. The anticipated term of employment is 18 months, with the possibility of further employment with Mc2 USA upon completion of the project. While training will be provided, the ideal candidate has:

• Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing experience in a light industrial environment;
• Experience working on hazardous waste sites;
• Current respirator fit test, forklift certification, first aid/CPR, and HAZWOPER/OSHA training
• Good writing and mathematics skills and the ability to read schematic drawings;
• Ability to work independently and follow directions,
• A positive and respectful manner

Responsibilities

• Offload equipment and supplies, with minor equipment assembly and repair on site;
• Operate and maintain well field and above ground equipment, including vapor and liquid extraction systems, treatment systems, and low-pressure steam generators;
• Monitor well field conditions and remediation operations under the supervision of an Mc² engineer;
• Collect process data and samples and perform Health and Safety tests with field instruments;
• Maintain detailed daily logs of site events, submit detailed daily reports and enter data into the project site webpage;
• Respond to equipment call out alarms;
• Follow Health and Safety and engineering directions faithfully;
• Perform other duties as required
