Oak Ridge Tool-Engineering, Inc. is a privately held manufacturing corporation in Oak Ridge, TN. We offer engineering and manufacturing services, including tooling, components, and custom-fabricated mechanical equipment, to the Aerospace, Defense, Energy, and Commercialmarkets. We have an immediate opening for the following position:

Fabricator: Rate of pay $25 to $35/hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Fabricate custom metal fixtures and products from beginning to end, involving everything from layout to shaping and finishing. This includes fitting, tacking, and welding steel and aluminum parts in accordance with drawings and specifications using GMAW and GTAW processes. The individual shall be proficient reading mechanical drawings and be able to qualify welder performance in accordance with AWS and ASME codes and standards.

Prior Experience

The individual should have five (5) to ten (10) years fabricating experience.

Education:

High school diploma (GED), trade school, or Associates degree in Manufacturing Technology
