The School of Business at Stockton University is expanding its pool of qualified adjunct (part-time) instructors to teach a variety of undergraduate level courses in Computer Information Systems on our Galloway Campus in the following two disciplines:
1. IT Project Management
Course Description: This course prepares students to apply quantitative and qualitative knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to design, develop, and manage IT projects. The topics include: project planning, cost and time management, risk management, contracts and procurement, software management, statistics, financial analysis, leadership, decision making, and human resources.
2. Senior Seminar
Course Description: Students will learn to evaluate the impact of current computing practice and trends: and will gain an understanding of professional, ethical, legal, and social issues and responsibilities. Students will participate in service activities, read and report on articles from computing literature, and also develop a professional resume.
3. Computer Networking Principles
Course Description: Introduces the principles and technologies of modern computer networks. Topics include network topologies, networking protocols, the layered approach to data communications, the TCP/IP model, client/server systems, network applications, and security. Course includes hands-on labs that involve configuring a Linux Local Area Network.
4. Enterprise Resource Planning
Course Description: In this course, students explore the concepts, methodology and practice of implementing and using ERP systems for integrating various facets of the business, including accounting, finance, manufacturing, sales, supply chain, and customer relationship management.

Adjunct instructors are expected to:
- Teach Undergraduate courses as scheduled
- Access student work and provide timely feedback
- Use Blackboard (the Learning Management System) to support the course
- Support Stockton University’s diversity commitment and strong student-centered vision and mission
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in subject or related area and relevant experience in subject area is required.
Teaching experience in subject area is preferred.
