Superintendent of Schools
The Woodbine Board of Education is seeking applicants for the position of Superintendent of Schools.
Woodbine is located in Cape May County, NJ. It has one school for grades PreK-8. Secondary students attend Middle Township High School or the Cape May County Technical School. The student enrollment is 237 students who are served by 38 staff members. The current budget is 6.5 million dollars.
The Board is seeking a permanent Superintendent of schools who has teaching and administrative experience at the Pre-K to 8 grade level. The successful candidate must have demonstrated expertise in curricular development and implementation. Knowledge of and experience in supervision and evaluation techniques with a focus on improving student performance will be required. School finance and budgeting knowledge are desired. Since Woodbine is a community school, demonstrated skill in a variety of community involvement activities is essential. All New Jersey certification requirements must be fulfilled.
The Board anticipates a starting date of July 1, 2022 or sooner.
