Job Summary

The Community Based Services Manager/Targeted Assessment Program ( TAP) Field Supervisor is a member of the TAP management team. TAP is designed to help low-income parents overcome multiple barriers to self-sufficiency, family stability, safety, and permanency through a holistic, strengths-based, trauma-informed, collaborative approach. The position has program coordination, staff supervision, reporting, and direct service functions. Duties include: outreach; screening/assessment; referral; pretreatment; Motivational Interviewing; intensive case management; follow-up services; case consultation; collaboration; documentation; reporting; and entry of information in the program's web-based system. This position also ensures the provision of high-quality TAP services through individual and group supervision and coaching with assigned Targeted Assessment Specialist staff in Bullitt, Hardin, Jefferson and Nelson Counties, and other counties as assigned, and ensures effective program implementation and collaboration with Department for Community Based Services ( DCBS) and other community partners in assigned counties. TAP staff receive excellent training, supervision, coaching and support to promote effectiveness, job satisfaction, and work/life balance. This is a hybrid position with the option for some remote work combined with co-location at a DCBS office in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
