Job Summary
The Deputy Director of Case Management & Senior Investigator will report to the Title IX Coordinator and Director of Investigations and investigate and help to ensure the timely resolution of assigned reports of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, and sexual misconduct involving members of the University community. Assist the Title IX Coordinator & Director of Investigations with the University's Title IX compliance efforts. Assist the Title IX Coordinator & Director of Investigations by providing subject-matter expertise on the requirements of and compliance with Title IX, VAWA, the Clery Act, FERPA, and related federal and state laws. Assist the Title IX Coordinator & Director of Investigations in managing a comprehensive case management system that includes each reported complaint involving discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, and sexual misconduct.
There is an internal employee being considered for this position ( IEBC).
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
In-depth knowledge of University policies and procedures, federal and state equal opportunity regulations, and Title IX regulations. Requires significant discretion and independent judgment—the ability to maintain confidentiality.
