Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Chief Advanced Practice Officer, the Director of the Office of Advanced Practice will have overall responsibility for all administrative aspects of the Office of Advanced Practice. The Director is responsible for all operations, financial, human resources, project management, and strategic planning.

The Director is involved in both short and long-term financial planning including budget development and reconciliation and overseeing all OAP office business functions. The Director also facilitates requests from the Enterprise related to the administrable needs for advance practice. Essential functions of the position include but are not limited to: strategic leadership, oversight and management of all aspects of the administration of the Office of Advanced Practice, program development, collaboration with internal and external leaders, analysis of national benchmark data and advise on national trends, develop and maintain OAP administrative matters while collaborating with leaders related to the development of new and existing programs and service lines for APPs practicing across the Enterprise. Oversee OAP human resource activities as well as providing support to all areas regarding APP onboarding, orientation, certification requirements, credentialing and privileges.

The Director will also be responsible for accreditation compliance, development of institutional policies and procedures, and participation in accreditation events.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Microsoft Windows, Excel, project management, interpretation of organizational policies and procedures, UKHC systems, effective communication skills, supervisory and analytical skills.
