Job Summary

You must be a current UK student to apply for this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK.

Seeking an experienced childcare provider for evenings and
weekends.
We would work around your schedule for evening and weekend help.
Occasional overnights. Optional vacation travel with the
family.

This is an opportunity to work with 2 bright and energetic
neurodivergent kiddos who will keep you laughing. They are
curious and love to learn. If you like LEGOs, dinosaurs, space
exploration, baking, and imaginary friends (or want to hear about
these topics a whole lot) this job is for you. Smoke-free
pet-free home.
The ideal candidate has the ability to work occassional
overnights that include school or camp drop off and pick up.

These children
respectively live with autism spectrum disorder and ADHD. Both
have sensory processing needs (one is seeking and the other is
avoiding). We seek a candidate who is patient but firm with a
child-centered approach.

LEGOS & Laughter

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

CPR/First Aid Trained, Non-smoker, reliable transportation. Must have an
understanding of neurodivergence with a whimsicle but structured
idea of play. Great sense of silly humor is a must. Miss
Trunchbull types need not apply.
