The Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine invites applicants for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor level outside of the tenure track. The candidate will work in the Biomedical Masters Program (BMP) as Director for Professional Development. The successful candidate will be an inspiring leader who provides strategic direction for BMP coaching and mentoring program. They will also contribute to the admissions proceedings, provide tailored academic advising to graduate students and create and deliver course content in partnership with the BMP Professional Coach Coordinator. The Director for Professional Development must be a committed advocate for a diverse student body. The position requires patience, flexibility, energy, and a sincere desire to assist students and colleagues. The ideal candidate will role model excellent communication skills, collaboration, and thought leadership.

Ph.D., M.D., Ed.D., or equivalent degree is required. International Coaching Federation Credentials (ACC, PCC, or MCC) are highly desired.
