- Payroll Supervisor
Duties: Reports to the Assistant Business Administrator; supervises and coordinates the activities of support personnel engaged in preparing payrolls including time cards, statistics, calculations, records, and pay rates; checks and certifies payroll information for completeness and accuracy; reconciles and transmits reports and payments to federal, state and county governments; prepares and reconciles payroll reports; prepares quarterly state pension reports; supervises changes on individual pay resulting from overtime, leave of absence, union dues, tax changes, social security and pension deductions, group life insurance, garnishes and attachments to ensure proper notations; directs computation of differential pay according to policy; serves as pension certification officer; performs and supervises the examination and analyses of regular and supplemental payrolls; maintains salary increment control; performs and directs preparation of payroll data including pension, insurance, and credit union payments; reviews and approves payroll deductions; interprets policies and government regulations regarding payroll procedures; compiles data for budgets and reports; responds to payroll related questions; maintains currency on relevant legislation; researches payroll-related issues; related duties as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Four years of payroll preparation experience. Strong computer literacy to include Google and Microsoft Office.
Ability to communicate effectively. Public education experience preferred.
Knowledge of Systems 3000 helpful.
- Bilingual Teacher
Duties: Reports to the Supervisor of ESL, World Languages, Performing Arts and Bilingual Education in cooperation with the Principal; provides learning experiences and supervision of assigned students; assists students to develop the skills, attitudes, and knowledge to meet the State Core Curriculum Content Standards by using approved curricula and directives of the school; works collaboratively with staff members and the parents; performs related duties as requested.
Requirements: NJ Teacher of Elementary certification (or) NJ Teacher K-5 certification and NJ Teacher of Bilingual/Bicultural certification or ESL certification.
Strong computer literacy.
